What a busy summer it has been! I have been so lucky to have styled lots of amazing weddings and wanted to share a few of them with you in my blog.
The most popular colours I supplied this summer were navy and purple……..in July alone I decorated two weddings in lilac and two weddings in navy. It was lovely to see all the different styles being used, from the still popular rustic and vintage themes to the more classic wedding décor. Bunting has also been popular in wedding rooms this season and I have also been using lots of lace for chair sashes and other decorations.
This summer has seen me style mainly city hotel weddings which has been great as the rooms have been so spacious, and each of my hire items has been displayed and decorated so it has been made a feature of the room. 
I’ve really enjoyed working with so many couples, offering consultations to make sure their wedding room is exactly the way they want it to be. Lots of couples I work with have so many individual requirements for their wedding room and I always go above and beyond to meet expectations and create their vision. A great example of this can been seen with the pull along wagon I had custom made for one of my brides so her little 8-month-old baby girl could go down the aisle in style.
Another new item added to my collection is my star lit back drop. This item has been very popular over the summer, especially in the city hotel rooms. Although the rooms are usually spacious and create a blank canvas for me to work with, they can sometimes lack that ‘wow’ factor which my back drop can create. The back drop is particularly effective on the evening when the lights are dimmed and the lights can be seen clearly……. perfect décor to create a real ‘party’ feeling.
