If you are looking at making a statement for your wedding room, then using tree centrepieces is definitely an option to consider.
In November 2017 I had the pleasure of dressing a wedding room at the beautiful Iscoyd Park near Wrexham. The brides and groom’s brief were big and eye catching……they wanted to really give their guests the ‘wow’ factor. Working closely with the couple I created beautiful tree centrepieces, which were decorated with wisteria, lights and red flowers. The trees were mounted on pots and stood at approx. 4ft tall. Choosing to paint the trees brown and covering the base in moss and adding stones into the pots really give the trees a natural feel to them and brought the outdoors inside for their wedding room.
Lots of couple’s mistake tree centrepieces as being a choice for a winter wedding but adding greenery and blossoms or flowers can allow the trees to fit into a spring or summer wedding, Also changing the colour of the tree from white to brown will help to add a more natural feel to the centrepiece, which greenery and flowers/blossom can then be added to.
Leaving the tree branches bear allows the décor you choose to really stand out. Decorating the trees with pearls, diamonds, hanging lights, etc can create a warm, elegant feel to your wedding room. This is perfect for a winter wedding when the lighting is darker, and the lights are a real focal point for the wedding room.
Since creating these beautiful centrepieces in November, I have been booked for two more weddings where trees are being used for the centrepieces so they are proving to be a popular choice for my couples.
